Following a successful grant application to Essex Community Foundation a grant was awarded from the Acorn Fund to enable new double glazed windows to fitted. These were fitted to the main hall, Parish Clerks office, disabled toilet, table tennis room and hallway with new doors fitted in the changing rooms. We also replaced three other damaged casements to windows at the same time.

These works combined with the previous boiler replacement in the main hall are all part of our continued drive to reduce energy costs throughout the building and our carbon footprint!

The contract was awarded to Bluemanor Windows who supplied the best value for money quotation. The works were completed over a three day period and with careful planning on both sides there was no interruption to any of our hirers. As you can see from the pictures the transformation to the building is amazing. We would certainly have no hesitation in recommending Bluemanor windows who’s office staff are very professional as are their fitters who kept every area of the hall clean and tidy at all times.
