As regular hall hire is virtually at capacity we took the decision to invest in a new boiler for the main hall heating. We feel it is important to make sure all utilities will continue to work throughout the year giving all hirers peace of mind. The previous boiler was fitted prior to 1990 and was becoming unreliable causing us to cancel hall hires on several occasions during the past year. The new boiler will not only improve reliability but should also reduce the running costs over a longterm basis by being more economical to run. The improved efficiencies help us to reduce our carbon footprint.
Works were carried out by Scott from Total Plumbing & Heating Solutions (after many quotes were obtained) a local firm from Braintree who also flushed the radiators and installed a magnetic filter.
