Defibrillator training session at Rayne Village Hall

We had a fantastic turn out of just under 40 people for our defibrillator training session on Saturday 3rd March considering the weather.

The training instructor Dot Parker from Community Heartbeat Trust with the help of our able volunteer Rob, took us though the basics of CPR click here for leaflet

We then were shown how to use a defibrillator using a training machine of the same model we have at the Village Hall. A general Q & A took place after the training session which proved to be very useful to those attending with most people feeling more comfortable knowing how to use a defibrillator and realising that trying to help a patient is better than doing nothing.
